The national independence day of Pakistan is celebrated with great zeal, enthusiasime respect and love all over the country. People of Pakistan from all walks of life pay rich tribute to the freedom fighters and The father of nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah .
To mark the day of independence Pakistani embassy, in Paris, is organising a “Pakistani Mela” for Pakistani community. This celebration is on Sunday 17 september 2017 at Centre Sportif Nelson Mandela

This celebration features a funfilled day for all ages . The purpose of this mela is to provide opportunity to Pakistani community to express their loveand patriotisme and for their country by participating in different activities . This will not only promote a soft image of Pakistan but also serves to introduce Pakistani culture and tradition to our future generation in France .
Pakistani community is invited to enjoy the superb experienceof festivity :the diverse traditional dishes of Pakistan , the fantastic dress designs with different colour combinations, tableaus , motivational speeches and mili songs . A musical concert by Jawad Ahmed, a renowned Pakistani singer will be the highlight of the festival .
This mela is being supervised by Mr Qamar Bashir ,the press counsellor in Pakistan embassy, who with his dedication and lot of hard work is keeping a deep eye on the arrangements to make this event a big hit.
